Bulbophyllum grandiflorum Blume 1849 is an epiphytic growing orchid species native to Malaysia, Indonesia, New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Even as this Bulbophyllum orchid get impressive big flowers, the plant can´t be recommended as an indoor plant, because the flowers exhale a disgusting smell like rotten flesh to attract insects.
Flowers of Bulbophyllum grandiflorum get a size of up to about 18 cm. The erect inflorescences reach a length up to 25 cm. Flowering period: Autumn
