Bulbophyllum Thai Spider is an epiphytic growing, primary orchid hybrid, a crossing between Bulbophyllum medusae (seed parent) and Bulbophyllum gracillimum (pollen parent), both native to South-East Asia.

Bulbophyllum Thai Spider has been registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by Suphachadiwong Orchids, a Thai orchid nursery, in the year 1995. Flowers get a size of approx. 8 - 10 cm in diameter. Flowering season: late summer - autumn. Bulbophyllum Thai Spider orchid hybrids require a warm to hot, humid environment and reduced watering during the winter rest. As it´s amazing to see this little flowers dancing in the slightest breath of wind, as it`s difficult to take a photo of them.
