Bulbophyllum Orchids

The genus Bulbophyllum is the largest in the Orchidaceae family and also one of the largest genera in the whole plant kingdom. There are more then 1800 Bulbophyllum species recorded, first described by Louis-Marie Aubert du Petit-Thouars. 1822 he described 17 Bulbophyllum species. The abbreviation in horticultural trade is: Bulb.

Bulbophyllum palawanense
