    Bulbophyllum ambrosia Schltr. 1919

    Bulbophyllum ambrosia (Hance) Schltr. 1919 is
    a lithophytic growing, small sized orchid species
    native to South China and Vietnam.
    The Bulbophyllum ambrosia has been primarily categorised by
    the English botanist and diplomat Henry Fletcher Hance (1827 - 1886)
    as Eria ambrosia Hance 1883.
    The sweet-scented Bulbophyllum ambrosia flowers reach a size of about 3 cm.
    Flowering period: Winter
