Dendrobium laevifolium Stapf 1924 is an epiphytic growing miniature orchid species, native to the South Pacific Island of Vanuatu and New Guinea.



The miniature sized orchid is growing on mossy trees at elevations of 650 to 2400 meters. The purple-red flowers get a size of 2,5 - 5 cm. Flowering period: Summer. Dendrobium laevifolium orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival). The tropical orchid species requires a warm – hot,
humid climate.
