Dendrobium Neifert’s Alexpoly is an epiphytic growing, primary orchid hybrid,a breeding from Dendrobium alexandrae (seed parent) and Dendrobium polysema (pollen parent).

Dendrobium Neifert’s Alexpoly has been registered with the Royal Horticultural Society in the year 2005 by David Neifert, the owner of Hanalei orchids, Kapaa, Hawaii. The stunning, but strange looking flowers get a size of about 8 cm. We found Dendrobium Neifert’s Alexpoly at an orchid exhibition in honour to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej`s birthday, a few years ago in our hometown Chiang Mai, North Thailand. It should need several years until we could identify this beautiful orchid hybrid as Dendrobium Neifert’s Alexpoly, but as we got more experienced over the years, we could finally solve this difficult problem.
