Mokara Jairak White is an epiphytic growing orchid hybrid, a crossing between
Aranda Christine (seed parent) and Ascocenda BFC White (pollen parent).
The beautiful white, purple spotted orchid has been registered with the Royal Horticultural Society in 2009 by K.Somboonpol, an orchid breeder from Thailand. Flowers get a size of 7-10 cm in diameter. Flowering period: free flowering. Mokara Jairak White requires warm temperatures, bright light, but no direct sun and a good air movement to avoid root rot. Mokara orchids are considered as easy to care and can be recommended for orchid beginners. Plants should be watered and fertilized regularly, but they doesn`t tolerate sitting in water. Mokara orchids, abbreviation in horticultural trade: Mkra., are trigeneric crossings between the orchid species Vanda, Ascocentrum and Arachnis. Mokara orchid hybrids has been developed in Singapore in the year 1969 and since then they became very popular as potted plants or cut flowers for their stunning, colorful and long-lasting flowers.
