Bulbophyllum orchids are mostly quite strange looking,
like the Bulbophyllum antenniferum (Lindl.) Rchb.f. 1864,
which is native to South Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and New Guinea.
The Bulbophyllum antenniferum is an epiphytic growing orchid
and requires a hot and humid climate.
In Thailand this tropical plant is called Singto Pak Ped,
Singto means lion, most Bulbpphyllum orchids are called Singto
and Pak Ped means duck’s bill.
The flowers reach a length up to 10 – 12 cm.
