Trichoglottis triflora Garay Seidenfaden 1972

Trichoglottis triflora (Guill.) Garay & Seidenfaden 1972 is an epiphytic growing miniature orchid species, found in Thailand and Vietnam.


The flowers reach a size of just about 0,5 cm and are best viewed with a magnifying glass or a macro lens. Flowering period: May - June. Trichoglottis triflora orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival). The tropical orchid requires a warm to hot humid climate and a moderate shady location.
