Bulbophyllum gracillimum (Rolfe) Rolfe 1907 is a small sized, epiphytic growing orchid species native to Burma (Myanmar), Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, New Guinea, Salomon islands and Australia. Commonly called graceful Bulbophyllum or wispy umbrella orchid the British botanist Robert Allen Rolfe (1855–1921) classified this orchid beauty primarily as Cirrhopetalum gracillimum in 1895, in 1907 he changed it to the genus Bulbophyllum. The get a picture of this small orchid flowers, the length of a flower is just about 2,5 - 3 cm, gave us a real clout, as with the slightest wind the flowers start to dance around. Flowering period: October - December.
