Dendrobium Maiden Charlotte is an epiphytic growing, primary orchid hybrid, a breeding from Dendrobium rhodostictum F. Muell. & Kraenzl. 1894 (seed parent) and Dendrobium aberrans Schltr. 1912 (pollen parent), which are both native to New Guinea.
The small Dendrobium Maiden Charlotte orchid, with its cute, white flowers has been registered with the Royal Horticultaral Society in the year 2001 by Tsiku Taiwan Orchids. The Dendrobium hybrid don`t have a specific flowering period, it blooms periodically throughout the year and will stay in flower for several month. Inflorescences bearing clusters of 2 - 4 stunning, white flowers, which get a width of about 3 cm. Dendrobium Maiden Charlotte is considerd as an easy to grow orchid.
