Eria densa Ridl. 1895 is an epiphytic growing orchid species, native to Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia. Eria densa inflorescences can reach lengths up to about 18 cm and are densely packed with lots of tiny flowers. Flowers get a size of just about 0,8 cm and are best viewed through a magnifying glass or a macro lens. Flowering period: all around the year, with a peak in summer. Eria densa orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival). The tropical orchid requires cool to hot tenperatures and a location in partial shade.
