Galeandra leptoceras Schltr. 1920, commonly called The Thin Horned Galeandra, is an epiphytic growing orchid species native to Colombia.
Flowers of Galeandra leptoceras get a size of about 5 cm and are born on about 5 cm long, thin inflorescences, which carry up to about 7 flowers. Flowering period: Autumn - Winter. The small - middle sized, tropical orchid requires cool - warm temperatures and moderate lighting. Watering should be restricted during the winter rest, until new growth appears. Galeandra leptoceras orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival).
