Hoya pubicalyx Black Dragon isn´t a hybrid, the outstanding plant has been found on Luzon Island at the Philippines. As we`ve got a call from our beloved friend and supporter “Madame Hoya”, we went to visit her in her small shop at Kamthieng market Chiang Mai, North Thailand. Look what a beautiful “black” Hoya I`ve got ! We`ve been astonished, as we never saw this plant before. I mentioned that the Hoya pubicalyx Black Dragon wouldn`t be cheap, but I really wanted the beauty. How much do You want for the plant, I asked Madame Hoya. Sorry, it`s not for sale, replied Madame Hoya, I just wanted to give You a chance to take a picture of it. I will use the plant for breeding and if I`m successful, You can have one.
