The multi-flowered Macradenia, Macradenia multiflora (Kraenzl.) Cogn. 1904 is an epiphytic growing, middle-sized orchid species, native to Brazil.
of 2 - 3 cm in diameter.
Flowering period: Summer - Autumn. Macradenia multiflora orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival). The tropical orchid requires intermediate - warm temperatures and a shady location. Macradenia multiflora orchids are best cultivated in hanging baskets with a well-drained potting medium and should be kept humid, but not wet. To induce blooming, plants should be exposed to bright light and slightly cooler temperatures during the winter rest.
