Cleisostoma capricorne (Ridl.) Garay 1972 is an epiphytic, occasionally lithophytic growing miniature orchid species native to Thailand and Myanmar (formerly Burma).
Cleisostoma capricorne inflorescences can reach lengths up to about 50 cm and carry up to 20 - 30 small showy flowers. The colourful, cute flowers of this miniature orchid species get a size of just about 0,8 cm and are best viewed with a magnifying glass or a macro lens. Cleisostoma capricorne orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival). The tropical orchid requires a warm to hot, humid climate.
