Odontocidium Wildcat Carmela, former Colmanara Wildcat Carmela,
is a 10 th generation orchid hybrid, means it needed 10 crossings
to achieve this beautiful orchid.
Odontocidium is a nothogenus, a intergeneric hybrid
from the orchid genera Odontoglossum and Oncidium.
Many orchid hybrids, formerly classified as Colmanara,
has been moved to the Odontocidium nothogenus by the American Orchid Society.
There is a big variety of Odontocidium Wildcat orchids,
they all require a shady place and a cool to intermediate climate and can be grown indoors.
