Rhyncholaeliocattleya (Rlc.) White Diamond (synonym: Brassolaeliocattleya (Blc.) White Diamond) is an epiphytic growing, intergeneric orchid hybrid, a crossing between Rhyncholaeliocattleya Tung-Noi Pink (seed parent) and Rhyncholaeliocattleya Pink Diamond (pollen parent).
Rhyncholaeliocattleya (Rlc.) White Diamond has been registered with the Royal Horticultural Society in the year 1999 by W.Saengsagwan. The beautiful, pure white flowers with a yellow, sometimes greenish center, get a size of about 15 cm in diameter. Inflorescences carry up to 3 - 5 large flowers. The orchid hybrid requires intermediate - warm temperatures and bright light. Plants should dry out between waterings. Rhyncholaeliocattleya, abbreviated Rlc., is the nothogenus (hybrid genus) for intergeneric crossings between Rhyncholaelia and Cattleya species orchids.
