Bulbophyllum nigrescens Rolfe 1910 is an epiphytic or lithophytic growing orchid species, native to Thailand, China (Yunnan) and Vietnam.

The many flowered Bulbophyllum nigrescens inflorescenses can reach a length up to 50 cm, while flowers get a size of just about 1 cm. Flowering period: March. Bulbophyllum nigrescens orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival).
