Angraecum Orchids

The Angreacum orchid genus has been established by the French naturalist Jean Baptiste Bory de Saint-Vincent (1778 – 1846) in the year 1804 and contains about 200 Angraecum species. Angraecum orchids are found in tropical Africa, the Comoros, the Seychelles, The Mascarene islands and Madagascar. Angraecum orchids are mostly epiphytic growing, occasionally lithophytic.
