Paphiopedilum concolor (Bateman) Pfitzer 1888, in common called The One Colored Paphiopedilum, is a beautiful, from pale to bright yellow coloured lady slipper (Paphiopedilum) orchid, native to Myanmar (formerly Burma), Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and South China.

Paphiopedilum concolor is flowering all year round, with its peak in June-August. The fragrant flowers grow to a size of about 5 - 7 cm. The stunning, tropical lady slipper orchid grows terrestrialy on limestone rocks at elevations from 10 - 1000 meters. Paphiopedilum concolor orchids are protected by CITES Appendix I (threatened with extinction, trade only in exceptional circumstances). The tropical orchid requires intermediate to warm temperatures and a shady location with moderate light. During the winterrest Paphiopedilum concolor orchids need cool temperatures, as low as 6°C and bright light to induce flowering.
