Liparis condylobulbon Rchb. f. 1862

Liparis condylobulbon Rchb. f. 1862 is a small sized, epiphytic or lithophytic growing orchid species, native to South-East Asia and as far away as Australia and Polynesia.


The arching inflorescences of Liparis condylobulbon reach lengths up to 25 cm and carry up to about 50 very small flowers. Flowers get a size of just about 0,5 cm and are best viewed with a magnifying glass or a macro lens.
Flowering period: Autumn - Winter. The vigorous growing, tropical orchid requires a warm - hot, humid climate and moderate - bright light.
Liparis condylobulbon orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival).
