The vandaceous Mokara orchids has been invented in Singapore in the year 1969, the very first hybrid has been named Mokara Wai Liang.
During the last decades Mokara orchids became very popular around the world, especially for their stunning, long-lasting flowers, which are often sold as cut-flowers and used for exotic flower bouquets and floral decorations. Mokara Golden Tommy flowers get a size of about 8 cm in diameter. Flowering period: free flowering. Mokara orchids are considered as easy to care plants and can be recommended for orchid beginners. Plants require a good air movement and should be watered and fertilized regularly. Don`t let plants sit in water, as it may cause root rot.
