The fragrant Dendrobium senile Par. & Rchb.f.1865 orchid is,
because of it´s white haired stems, also called Old Man Orchid or
The White-haired Dendrobium.
The flowers have a sweet, honeylike scent and last a long time.
Flower size about 3-5cm, flowering period: January -March
The Dendrobium senile Par. & Rchb.f. orchid is native to Thailand, Burma (Myanmar)
and Laos and is growing at elevations from 500 – 1200 meters.
