The spectacular Phalaenopsis stuartiana Rchb.f. 1881, an epiphytic growing orchid species, is native to Mindanao the second largest island in the Philippines. Inflorescences of Phalaenopsis stuartiana grow up to a length of about 90 cm and carry up to 100 slightly fragrant flowers. The tropical orchid requires a shady and humid environment. Flowers reach a size of 5 - 9 cm.
Flowering period: Winter - Spring.
