The intergeneric orchid hybrid Trichovanda Thai Velvet, a crossing between Trichoglottis atropurpurea and Vanda Kinzweiler has been registered with the Royal Horticultural Society by Suphachadiwong Orchids in the year 1994. The beautiful dark red flowers look like they been made from rubber, they feel like rubber and even smell like rubber.
