Nymphaea Madame Wilfon Gonnère is a hardy water lily hybrid introduced in 1924 by the nursery Latour-Marliac in Le Temple-sur-Lot (South-France). The French botanist Josef Bory Latour-Marliac founded the water lily nursery, which still exists today, about the year 1885 and is deemed as the father of modern water lily cultivation.
The pink coloured flowers of the water lily Nymphaea Madame Wilfon Gonnère get a size of about 12 cm across and consist of about 30 - 40 petals. This stunning water lily beauty is suitable for ponds with water depths from 40 - 80 cm.
