The yellow flowering Weingartia neocumingii Backeb. 1950 depends to the Cactus family (Cactaceae) and is native to Bolivia. The Cactus plant Weingartia neocumingii grows in altitudes of 2000 - 3000 meters and get a size of about 30 cm in diameter. The mostly yellow, some plants also orange, brown-red and dark-red, flowers reach a size of about 4 cm in diameter and remain open for five or six day. Flowering period: early summer.
Weingartia neocumingii cactuses likes full sun to light shade and regularly water in summer, while dry or slightly moist and cool (5° C) in winter time.
