The bright yellow Thai Orchid Hybrid Dendrobium Jiad Gold is a crossing from the Dendrobium hybrids Dendrobium Madame Chuli (seed parent) and Dendrobium Yong Kok Wah (pollen parent).

The beautiful, epiphytic growing Thai orchid has been registered in the year 1983 with the Royal Horticultural Society. The long-lasting flowers get a size of about 5 cm. Dendrobium Jiad Gold inflorescences get a length of about 20 cm and carry up to 10 flowers, which open simultaneously. Like the most Thai Dendrobium orchid hybrids, Dendrobium Jiad Gold requires a warm to hot climate, full sun or bright light and regularly fertilizing. Seeds of Dendrobium Jiad Gold are used to create Dendrobium Thongchai Gold, another stunning yellow Thai orchid hybrid, with a purple lip.
