Doritis pulcherrima Lindl. 1832 is an lithophytic or terrestrially
growing orchid species, widely spread over South East Asia.
The beautiful Doritis pulcherrima is best grown on sandy soil.
The erect inflorescenses reach a length of 90 cm
and can carry more than 20 flowers,
which opens about 10 at the same time.
Flower size: 2 – 2,5 cm
Flowering period: May – October
