Plumeria Pink Pansy

26/11/2013

Plumeria Pink Pansy is a dwarf-type Plumeria rubra cultivar with pansy-like pink-white flowers, developed in Hawaii. The highly fragrant flowers, with a sweet scence get a size of about 6 cm in diameter. Plumeria Pink Pansy plants are particularly suitable to be cultivated in containers as the tree, if regularly and proper trimmed, can be kept as small as just 1-2 meters. Like other Plumeria plants Pink Pansy requires warm temperatures and a location in full sun to partial shade. Plumerias belong to the dogbane family (Apocynaceae) and contain a milky sap, which may cause skin irritations and stubborn stains.
