The beautiful, intergenic Orchid hybrid Brassolaeliocattleya Little Toshie x Laeliocattleya Loog Tone
fooled us and teached us again, what a big task it is to identify orchids.
Especially orchid hybrids are often a mission impossible for us,
while species are a little bit more easy. This time we went to an orchid shop at
the Kamthieng flower market in Chiang Mai, North Thailand to make a picture
of a Laeliocattleya Star Bright, the images we´ve ben shooting a while ago, didn´t fit
our standard. At Kamthieng market there are lots of shops selling orchid hybrids,
but the shop keepers don´t have any idea what they´re selling,
all the orchids don´t even have a label. So I was looking around in the shop and told Nat,
our Thai photographer, that´s the Lc. Netrasiri. He took a few photos.
At home I checked again and had to figure out, that I was fooled
and Nat photographed a Brassolaeliocattleya Little Toshie x Laeliocattleya Loog Tone.
