Rhyncholaeliocattleya (Rlc.) Sanyung Ruby (synonym: Brassolaeliocattleya (Blc.) Sanyung Ruby) is an epiphytic growing orchid hybrid, a crossing between Rhyncholaeliocattleya Waianae Coast (seed parent) and Rhyncholaeliocattleya Chia Lin (pollen parent).

The fragrant flowers of Rlc. Sanyung Ruby, with a floral scent reminescent of rose, get an impressive size of up to 20 cm in diameter. Flowering period: free flowering. Flowers are sterile, means they does not set seeds or plants will not come true from seed. The orchid hybrid requires intermediate – warm temperatures and bright light. Plants should dry out between waterings. Rhyncholaeliocattleya, abbreviated Rlc., is the nothogenus (hybrid genus) for intergeneric crossings between Rhyncholaelia and Cattleya species orchids. The name of this beautiful orchid hybrid is often misspelled as Rlc. or Blc. Sanyang Ruby.
