Rhyncattleanthe Netrasiri Starbright (synonym: Potinara Netrasiri Starbright) is an epiphytic growing intergeneric orchid hybrid, a crossing between Cattlianthe Kauai Starbright (seed parent) and Rhyncattleanthe Orange Nuggett (pollen parent). Rhyncattleanthe Netrasiri Starbright, has been developed registered with the Royal Horticultural Society in 1987 by V.Netrasiri. The waxy looking, bright orange flowers with a bright red lip get a size of about 10-13 cm in diameter. Inflorescences carry up to 3-4 flowers. Flowering period: November – February, but with perfect conditions the orchid hybrid may flower several times a year.

Rhyncattleanthe Netrasiri Starbright (Potinara Netrasiri Starbright) requires intermediate to warm temperatures and a location in partial shade. Plants should be kept moist, but not wet. Rhyncattleanthe, abbreviated Rth. in horticultural trade, is the nothogenus (hybrid genus) for intergeneric crossings between the orchid genera Cattleya, Guarianthe and Rhyncholaelia.
