Bulbophyllum muscarirubrum Seidenf. 1979, an epiphytic miniature orchid species endemic to Thailand, is growing at elevations from 1100 - 1500 meters.

The beautiful, red flowers get a size of just 0,3 cm, what gave our young flower photographers a big task to achieve the macro photography. Flowering period: January-February. Bulbophyllum muscarirubrum orchids are protected by CITES Appendix II (trade controlled to avoid use incompatible with species survival).
