Mokara orchids, like the beautiful Mokara Chark Kuan Pink,
are a cross breeding or a so called trigeneric hybrid
between the orchid species Vanda, Ascocentrum and Arachnis.
Mokara hybrid orchids has been created in Singapore in the year 1969
and are very popular as potted plants or cut flowers all over asia.
The Mokara flowers are long-lasting.
Mokara Chark Kuan has been registered in Malaysia in the year 1976
and there are several colours, like pink, orange and red available.
