Encyclia cordigera var. rosea

Encyclia cordigera var. rosea (Bateman) H.G.Jones 1969 is an epiphytic, occasionally lithopytic growing orchid species, native to Central and South America. The beautiful Encyclia cordigera var. rosea is a variation of Encyclia cordigera (H.B.K.) Dressler 1964, which has a mostly white lip. Encyclia cordigera flowers reach a size up to about 7,5 cm and are highly fragrant.
Flowering period: Winter - Spring
