Orchid Hybrid Bulbophyllum Manchind

Bulbophyllum Manchind is an epiphytic growing orchid hybrid, a crossing between the Bulbophyllum species orchids Bulbophyllum mandibulare (seed parent)
and Bulbophyllum echinolabium (pollen parent).


The beautiful orchid hybrid has been registered with the Royal Horticultural Society in the year 2011 by Bill Thoms a renowned Bulbophyllum breeder, who endowed the Bill Thoms Award. Bill Thoms and his wife Doris Dukes are cultivating orchids in Central Florida for more than 40 years and they have won more awards for orchids culture, than just about anyone else in the world. Bulbophyllum Manchind requires intermediate - warm temperatures and a shady location. Flowers can reach a size up to about 30 cm. Flowering period: free flowering.
